Getting your internet video seen among the millions of options on YouTube takes a lot of luck and a little bit of strategy. I’ve heard it said many times that you should be careful what you write in social networking sites because your words could last forever. How about with video? With all the video blogs out there, it’s pretty easy to just hit that shiny red Record button and start ranting about something you’re fired up about. Is this good or bad for business? Yesterday, YouTube announced a new facelift to it’s popular website. I took a closer look to see if it’s new features equated to an experience that inspired or sucked. Here’s what I found:
The new look of YouTube is much cleaner and reminiscent of Apple’s minimalist advertising campaigns. The new interface features handy drop-down buttons to display more information if you’d like but keeping it hidden away until you need it.
Here’s the YouTube sensation that’s been all the buzz lately. Videos like this are one of the major reasons why BetterInternetVideo.com was created. If a guy in Uruguay can post a video on a Thursday and have his inbox full of emails from Hollywood producers the following Monday, then it’s clear that anyone can make it in the entertainment industry and YouTube is (more…)
